Yvonne Mae Jungwirth (Roebke) Neenah WI, 88, passed away peacefully in her sleep at home with family.

She was born on August 17, 1937, in Oshkosh WI. The oldest daughter of Harold Roebke and Eleanor Waters/Polus.

Yvonne was from the “Homemaker” generation, where the house always smelt nice and good tasting food was on the table. Canned pickles, beets and potato dumplings with Christmas treats galore! She also loved to knit and crochet, making many beautiful, cherished items and doilies.

She married William Jungwirth on November 1st of 1958. He preceded her in death on May 29 of 2018, after almost 60 years of marriage.

Yvonne is survived by her daughter Pamela (James VanSagon) Podjaski and son Garry Jungwirth; grandchildren: Joshua (Abby) Podjaski, Athena DeHusson, Trevor Jungwirth, Jeremy Jungwirth, Evan (Aurianna) Jungwirth; great grandchildren: Emilye, Owen, Beau, Ayden, McKenzie; sister Donna (Clarence) Meisel and brother Steven (Karen) Polus, plus many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, mother and father in-law John and Olga Jungwirth; brothers-in-law John, George, Edward, Robert; and sisters-in-law Helen and Karen.

A private family service will be held at Highland Memorial Park Cemetery, Star of Hope Chapel. 3131 N Richmond St. Appleton WI 54911 on Thursday January 29, 2026. Visitation will be from 10am to 11am with a service at 11 with entombment to follow. Pastor Ethan Cherney of Bethel Evangelical Church of Menasha will be officiating.
