Wendy Lou Rupiper, age 74, passed away at her home on June 10, 2026, surrounded by her family and their love. She was born on October 23, 1951, to the late Raymond and Blanche Wiegert. She attended Little Chute High School. Following her education she enjoyed socializing with friends. It was while attending the carnival at the Kaukauna VFW that she met Michael Rupiper. It was love at first sight for Michael-he was truly taken with her personality and soon after they met they tied the knot.
Wendy truly loved spending time with the people she loved. She was a natural social butterfly. Wendy and Michael’s family started soon after they married with the arrival of Keith, then Jenny and finally Gina. Their house was filled love and adventure. Wendy made time for her children. She was a firm believer in “outside time” for the kids, but she also took them on adventures around the area.
Wendy enjoyed listening to music and was a Beatles fan. She also enjoyed tending the flowers in the garden (with a lot of help from Michael) and then liked to watch the birds in the yard-especially hummingbirds and cardinals. She also enjoyed sipping tea, eating graham crackers and watching the Young and the Restless-“don’t call me during my stories.”
Wendy is survived by her husband of 57 years, Michael, her son Keith (Julie) Rupiper, her daughter Jennie (Andy) Morgel; grandchildren: Cody, Dalton, Josh, Alicia, Marrissa, Dylan, Hailey, Clayten, Hannah; and 11 great grandchildren. In addition, she is survived by her siblings, and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter Gina Hoffman, as well as some of her siblings.
A memorial service will take place on Friday June 26, 2026, at 4:00pm at Wichmann Funeral Home, 400 W Wisconsin Ave, Kaukauna. Friends and family may gather at the funeral home from 2:00pm until the service begins.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established.
