Victoria M. Welsh

Victoria M. “Vicky” Welsh. Our beautiful mother went to meet our Lord on December 12, 2022. Victoria was born to Louis and Josephine Gajewski on August 6, 1934 in Wausau, Wisconsin. Victoria married Wallace Welsh in October of 1953. He was the love of her life, and upon his death, her heart was broken and never healed. Victoria worked several positions, with her latest being at St. Elizabeth’s Dietary Department. She also donated her time to St. Joseph’s Food Pantry after her retirement. She had many dear friends. Anyone that met her loved her contagious laughter, beautiful smile and great hugs.

Victoria is survived by her children: Karin Apitz, Mary Jo Farnum, Tom Welsh, and Kathy (Rick) Losse. She is further survived by her grandchildren, Jessica Apitz, Michelle (Jason) LeMere, Dwight Mueller, Louie (Jana) Apitz, and Briana Farnum, great-grandchildren: Erick, Emma, Holden, and Eli Wallace. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters, Sr. M. Lois, Mary Rose, Dan (Shirley), and Dave (Trudy) as well as many loving nieces, nephews and great friends.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband Wallace, her parents, children: Ann, Dan, Diane and Patricia and numerous family and friends.

Memorial Mass will be held on Monday, December 19, 2022 at 10:30 AM at St. Mary Catholic Church, 528 Second Street in Menasha. There will be a visitation preceding the Mass on Monday at the church from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM.
