Age 97, passed away, surrounded by her family, at Rennes Health Care Center on Tuesday, November 29, 2011. She was born in Milwaukee on June 9, 1914 the daughter of the late Cyprian and Mary Zemblowski. On May 24, 1935 she married Joseph Loberger in Oconto Falls and were married for 70 wonderful years. Vicky's life was filled with square dancing, sewing, gardening and spending time with family. She will be remembered for her warm, nurturing personality, who was “Mom” to many.
Vicky is survived by her children: Barb (George) Bolwerk, Dick (Marge) Loberger, Mary (Bill) Warnecke and Joan (Geno) Jarvi; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter; brothers: Cyprian “Bud” (Katie) Zemblowski and Leonard (Joan) Zemlowski; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe; nine sisters: Cecilia, Molly, Rose, Irene, Marie, Minnie, Frances, Lily and Caroline; and three brothers: Tom, Ted and Pete.
The funeral liturgy will be at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, December 3, 2011 at HOLY SPIRIT PARISH, Kimberly Campus, 600 E. Kimberly Ave., Kimberly, with Fr. David Beaudry officiating. Friends will be received at the church on Saturday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the Mass. Burial will be in Appleton Highland Memorial Park.
