BRINKMAN, TIMOTHY A. “TIM”

Timothy Brinkman, of Appleton, age 52, passed away peacefully with courage on Friday, January 30, 2009 at St. Elizabeth Hospital. He remains an inspiration to all of us. Tim was born on April 28, 1956 in Appleton, the son of the late Orville E. and Virginia M. (Stimpson) Brinkman. He was a volunteer at St. Elizabeth Hospital and enjoyed going to schools to discuss his disabilities with students. Tim was an avid Packer fan and enjoyed gardening, music and animals. He loved being around people and lived life to the fullest.

He is survived by his three brothers: Tom (Sue), Rick (Peg) and Randy (Laura) Brinkman; nieces and nephews: Charity Brinkman (goddaughter); Nathan (Kristie) Nobbe and Luke Brinkman; special friend and angel: Jackie Arndt and her family. Tim is further survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.

The memorial service for Tim will be held at 7:30 pm on Monday, February 2, 2009 at WICHMANN FUNERAL HOME DOWNTOWN CHAPEL. The family will receive relatives and friends from 5:00 pm until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in his name.
