Thomas M. Seidl, 82, passed away on Tuesday, March 19, 2024. He was born on August 4, 1941, in Appleton, the son of Michael and Leona (Sigl) Seidl. Tom was a proud Marine Corps. Veteran of 6 years, who was stationed in 29 Palms, Okinawa, and Camp Pendleton. He was honorably discharged in 1963. Tom was a proud family man, always loving and supportive of his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Tom enjoyed NASCAR especially Dale Earnhardt, working on his 1977 Trans Am, and dogs. He will be remembered most for his heart of gold, being selfless, loving, and honest.

Thomas is survived by his children: Lynn Seidl and Michael (Tami Koch) Seidl; three grandchildren: Brandon Arter, Andrew, and Kiera Persen; three great grandchildren: PJ Peterson, Aurora and Alita Abromeit; former wife: Nicole Rigden; siblings: James (Donna) Seidl, Sharon Keddell, Jack (Jann) Seidl, Robert Seidl, Nancy Greene, Steven (Dianne) Seidl and Debra (William) Gear; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Thomas was preceded in death by his parents and five siblings: Jerry, Dick, Michael, Carol, and Donald Seidl.

Funeral services will be held at Noon, on Saturday, March 30, 2024, at the Wichmann Funeral Home, 537 N. Superior St., Appleton. Visitation will be on Saturday at the funeral home from 10:00 am until the time of the service. Full Military Honors will be presented immediately following the service. Inurnment will take place at Riverside Cemetery, Appleton. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established at a later date.
