Thomas J. Joosten

Thomas J. Joosten, 77, passed away on September 25, 2022. He was born on January 7, 1945, to Joseph and Rita Joosten. He served in the Army from 1960 to 1964, and spent over 30 years working at Appleton Coated Paper. Thomas married Donna Schroeder on October 17, 1997.

Thomas loved fishing, hunting, and taking road trips down country roads.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Rita.

He is survived by his wife, Donna; children, Christine (Bobby Sweeney) Rhode and Adam Joosten; stepchildren, Phillip (Sheila) Lenoble and Gail (Frank) Zandi; grandchildren, Kathrine Rhode, Chloe Rhode, Aidan Joosten, and four other grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren, brother, John (Judy) Joosten; sister, Mary (Bill) Knabenbauer; and nieces and nephews.

A service will be held for Thomas on Thursday, September 29, at 6:00 PM, at Wichmann Funeral Home, 537 N. Superior St, Appleton. There will be a visitation held prior from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
