Theodore Calvin Allen-Eckes

Theodore Calvin Allen was born January 26, 2026, and passed away four too short days later on January 30, 2026. He was surrounded by his family and was so well-loved for the time he had here in our presence. Theo was to be the younger brother to Bentley who was so looking forward to being that awesome big brother. Bentley often and always told others he met that “Mommy has a baby in her belly.”

It's difficult to describe the grief that encompasses. Grief for the missed milestones, joyful celebrations and the skinned knees that were anticipated to come. Theodore didn’t even have the opportunity to pick his own nickname…would he have been a Theo, a Ted, or a Teddy? During his creation, Theodore was busy! He was kicking all the time and active. He also, according to his mom, enjoyed pickles!

Theodore is survived by his parents Cailin Allen and Phil Eckes, his brother Bentley, his grandmother Angela Allen, his aunt Sarah (Arthur) Smith, uncle Joshua Taylor; great grandparents Kathie and Kevin Taylor, great aunt Amanda Deramus, great great aunt Penny Allen, and cousin Valinci Deramus. Of course, there are many family friends and other relatives who survive to support the family.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother Lynn Eckes, great grandmother Ila Schabow, and great great grandfather Calvin Allen.

Please join us to memorialize his presence and celebrate his short life on Friday February 20, 2026, at 11:00am at Wichmann Funeral Home-Jansen Fargo Chapel, 204 E Kimberly Ave, Kimberly. Friends and family may gather at the funeral home from 10:00am until the service begins.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established.
