Suzanne M. Nuernberger, age 89, passed away on May 20, 2026, at Ballard Glenn Assisted Living. She was born on February 1, 1937, in Appleton, the daughter of Wilbur and Myrtle (Dreier) Kositzke. Suzanne enjoyed completing jigsaw puzzles, traveling the United States, and volunteering at her church, attending Bible study, and quilting over the years. She will be remembered most for her love of her grandchildren and the strong bond she had with all of them.

Suzanne is survived by her two children: Nancy Rogers and Michael (Diane) Nuernberger; 4 grandchildren: John “BJ” (Renee Tourdot) Mielke, Christian Rogers, Philip (Laura) Nuernberger, and Alissa (Damian) Hannus; 4 great grandchildren: Esme Rogers, Dani Hannus, and Michael and Brianna Nuernberger; other relatives and friends.

Suzanne was preceded in death by her husband and parents; a grandson: Tommy Rogers; and 2 brothers: Richard and Tom Kositzke.

A private funeral service will be held for Suzanne. Interment will be in Highland Memorial Park, Appleton.
