Susan M. Kerrigan

July 1, 1968 — September 27, 2022

Appleton

Susan M Kerrigan age 54 passed away unexpectedly on September 27, 2022. Susan was born July 1, 1968, in Oshkosh, WI to Herb and Judy (Zabel) Tesch. Susan grew up in Menasha and attended Menasha High School. Her parents went separate ways when Sue and her brother Rick were kids, and Susan then gained an extended family of step siblings and stepparents.

Susan became a sign maker and designer under the tutelage of her stepfather Tom Jennerjahn.  Susan was known to be a restless soul, and spent time in Minneapolis, Seattle and various other locations through the years.

Sue loved her friends, and especially loved spending time dancing with them to all types of music.  She enjoyed Brewers games, and always made friends whenever she went to a game.  Her motto was always: “Hi there, How ya doin’?”

Sue was notorious for getting into trouble with her stepsister Ann. A fond recollection is of “playing Charlie’s Angels” and having the cops called on them!  Sue was seldom the instigator of the plan, but she certainly participated in the antics.

Susan is survived by her father Herb (Karen) Tesch, her stepfather Tom Jennerjahn, brother Rick (Dawn) Tesch, and step siblings: Ann Jennerjahn, Debbie (Scott) Fabel, David (Julie) Jennerjahn, Mark Zellmer. She will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, good friends and other family. She was preceded in death by her mother Judy, son Gabriel, stepbrother Jasen Zellmer and numerous aunts, uncles as well as her grandparents.

There will be a private memorial service for Sue, and she will be laid to rest at a later date in Riverside Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Wisconsin Children’s Hospital in Sue’s name.

I Am Sue
The world isn't a
perfect place, but I
didn't let the bad
affect who I am on the
inside. Though I've
made mistakes in the
past, I don't let any
regrets bring me
down. Everything I've
been through has led
me to this point in my
life, and I am grateful
for that.
