Stewart Douglas Fraser, age 77 of Ripon, WI passed away on June 11, 2026. He was born to the late Walter and Evelyn (Kramer) Fraser on June 11, 1949 in Shawano, WI. After graduating from East High School in Green Bay, he joined the Army, serving in Germany during the war in Vietnam. After earning an honorable discharge, Stewart went on to earn his Associates Degree from Concordia University in Green Bay and ended his career life as a supervisor for Spartech.

Almost everything Stewart did was to help others. Stewart was quite the handyman – a skilled carpenter – and after floods and tornadoes, he would help rebuild houses and roofs that were damaged. Stewart also spent much of his time helping at his church with both his volunteering and his carpentry skills, especially since his faith was so important to him. With what other free time he had between his carpentry jobs, Stewart enjoyed golfing, hunting, fishing, and landscaping – anything to keep his hands and mind busy! In their younger days, he enjoyed taking his kids on vacations to theme parks and state parks. Stewart also loved music and was a member of his high school choir and drama club in his youth. More than anything, though, Stewart loved his family and cherished every moment he could them.

Stewart will be deeply missed by his children, Kayla and Leif; his sister, Diane; his brother-in-law, Glenn; as well as many nieces, nephews, other extended relatives, and dear friends.

Stewart is preceded in death by his first wife, Kathleen; his second wife, Jana; his siblings, Don (Janice), Patricia “Patty”, and Nancy (Tom, Gene); and his brother-in-law, Roger.

A memorial visitation will be held for Stewart from 1:30 – 2:30 PM on Saturday, July 11, 2026 at Jansen-Fargo Funeral Home, 204 E. Kimberly Ave, Kimberly, WI 54136 with a memorial service to follow at 2:30 PM. Stewart will be laid to rest at Nicolet Memorial Park in Green Bay, WI.
