Steven M. Fenn, age 70, of Grand Chute passed away on Sunday, October 4, 2026. He was born January 29, 1956, in Appleton, son of the late Dan and Marcey Fenn. On September 15, 1984, Steve united in marriage to Sandy Behrendt from Kimberly. The couple enjoyed 42 happy years of marriage. Steve enjoyed spending time with friends and family. He also enjoyed spending time at the cottage on Kelly Lake and the cabin in Waupaca. Steve had a fantastic sense of humor. He always wanted to make people smile. He was known for telling “food” jokes to the waitresses at restaurants. His favorite was “I ordered the Club sandwich and I’m not even a member. I don’t know how I got away with it.” He was also a classic car buff. He owned a few of them and enjoyed going to car shows.
Before retirement, Steve had worked at Thilmany, True Value and Ace Hardware in Kaukauna. He also ran 2 popcorn wagons in front of the Shopko stores. He was a member of Christ the Rock Community Church.
Survivors include his wife: Sandy Fenn; Sister: Barbara (Ron) Rosin; Brother: Scott (Joan) Fenn and their children, Jason (Amanda), Rob, Kurt (Karissa) Fenn, Laura McKee; Brothers and Sisters-in-law: Allen and Laurie Clark, and niece and nephew Tracy and Travis Clark, Darleen Behrendt, Linda and Dan Sanchez, and nephews Jeremiah, Joshua and Jesse (Claudia) Swiechowski, Steve and Lynn Behrendt, and nephew and nieces Jayden (Kathryn), Cambria and Alayna Behrendt. Also nephews Ken (fiancé Carissa), Brandon (Bailey) and Christopher Sampson. As well as 13 great nephews and nieces.
He was preceded in death by his Father and Mother-In-Law: Jerome and Donna Behrendt; Sister-In-Law: Cathy Sampson; Nephews: David and Aaron Rosin.
Funeral service for Steve will be held at 11AM, on Thursday, October 15, 2026, at Christ the Rock Community Church, W6254 Highway 10-114, Menasha, WI. Visitation will be on Thursday at the church from 9AM until the time of the service. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery, Appleton.
Steve was the life of every family get together and pretty much wherever he went. He will be greatly missed.
