Sharon Lucille Zastrow, age 73 of Neenah, WI passed away on August 30, 2026. She was born to Sherman and Ernestine (Juley) Zastrow on July 8, 1953 in Green Bay, WI – one of twelve of their children. After graduating from high school, Sharon spent most of her career working for Anchor Foods, making sure Midwest America stayed fed. With her ex-husband, Sharon raised 3 wonderful children to whom she devoted much of her home life.
Sharon was very easy to get along with and had quite the gift of gab, making friends wherever she went. She was very well-read and enjoyed expanding her mind with literature and word searches. You could often find her around town shopping at grocery stores or retail stores, but most notably at rummage sales, looking to find treasures and oddities at a bargain. She also loved cheering on The Packers and the Brewers. More than anything, though, Sharon loved her family and cherished every moment she could spend with her kids and grandkids.
Sharon will be deeply missed by her children, Andrew Zastrow, Chad (Becky) Weber, and Holly (Mark) Pappenfuss; her grandchildren, Cody Smith, Michael Weber, and Brandon Weber; her siblings, Mary (Dan) Lindner, Don Zastrow, Harold (Char) Zastrow, Doris Zastrow, Steve (Sue) Zastrow, Lloyd Zastrow, Patty Zastrow, and Pam (Peter) Ault; her sister-In-law, Santa Zastrow; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, other extended relatives, and dear friends.
Sharon is preceded in death by her parents, Sherman and Ernestine Zastrow; and her siblings, June (Dave) Miller, JoAnn Zastrow, and Ron Zastrow.
A memorial visitation will be held for Sharon from 2-4 PM on Saturday, September 26, 2026 at Laemmrich Funeral Home, 312 Milwaukee St, Menasha, WI 54952 with a celebration of life to follow at Stone Toad Bar and Grill 1109 Oneida St. Menasha, WI 54952 starting at 5pm.
Sharon’s family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at Peabody Manor for their excellent care in her final days.
