Sandy Campbell, age 49, of Hortonville, passed away on Tuesday, May 11, 2010, at her home, following a courageous battle with brain cancer. Sandra was born on January 16, 1961, in Milwaukee, to the late Glenn and Helen A. (Piepmeier) Campbell. She was not only a loving sister and aunt, but was special friend to many. Sandy was an enthusiastic Special Olympics athlete and garnered many ribbons, awards and trophies during her athletic career. She was employed at Valley Packaging for over 18 years. Survivors include her sister Sue “Susie” Campbell; her special niece, Stefanie Hrncirik; her nephews, Scott (fiancée Ashley) Hrncirik, and Ross (special friend, Heather) Hrncirik; her sister, Sharon Campbell, and her children, Megan (fiancee Jason) Brady and Ryan (Amanda) Brady. Sandy is further survived by many dear and special friends. Her family would like to extend a sincere thank you to AGAPE of Appleton for its many years of support, caring and wonderful memories. The efforts of Sandy's caregivers and ThedaCare at Home Hospice made it possible for her to remain with her family during these past few months. Funeral services will be at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, May 14, 2010, at WICHMANN FUNERAL HOME—TRI-COUN TY CHAPEL, 3212 S. Oneida Street, Menasha. Friends may call directly at the funeral home on Friday from 3:30 p.m. until the time of services. A memorial has been established in Sandy's name.
