Sandra Paulyne Wallenfang, 79, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Friday, June 4, 2021.
The oldest child of the late Alfred and Josephine Getzlaff, she was born on July 4, 1941 in Milwaukee, WI.
Sandra graduated from Menasha High School and spent the early part of her career in the Secretarial field for various local businesses and then worked as a Dental Assistant for Dr. William Stilp in the Zuelke building. She later became a homemaker and mother.
She was very artistic and loved to paint, draw, and craft. She also liked to dance, listen to vintage music, her plushie collection, and to befriend, feed, and chat up all the wild life that would show up at her door. She was also known for trying her luck at the casino slots on the rare occasion.
She is survived by her daughter Karen Frederick; two sons Allen Frederick, and David Wallenfang; her brother in-law William Krause; and eight nieces and nephews along with their children.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her younger sister, Patricia Krause.
The family would like to extend thanks to Meadowbrook (formally ManorCare) staff who have gotten to know and care for Sandra, the Hospice caregivers, St Elizabeth’s hospital staff, and her niece Michelle Krause.
There will be a Celebration of Life gathering on her birthday, July 4th, 2021.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your favorite charity in memory of Sandra.
