Sandra Lee Nwabeke (Sahotsky) passed away on March 25, 2021, peacefully at home with her family by her side.
Sandra was born August 8, 1960, and grew up under the care of her loving parents, Donald J. Sahotsky and Phyllis F. Sahotsky (Rymer). She graduated from Menasha High School and later became an early childhood education teacher at KinderCare where she worked for over 35 years.
Everyone fortunate enough to know her knew she had a big heart which is evident by how many of the children and families whose lives she has touched. Sandra will always be remembered for her uncanny sense of humor – she was known to tease her loved ones whenever she could catch them off guard. She loved nothing more than to spend time with her children, grandchildren and caring husband. Her family and friends will remember her as a lifelong Packers fan and she passed that love of The Pack to her children and grandchildren. Go Pack Go!
She will be greatly missed by her husband of 37 years, Chris; her loving children: Rachel, Ngozi, Alozie, Akujuobi and Chinyere; her dear grandchildren Cadija, Damani, Xavier and Sanaya and great-grandson, Lincoln. Other survivors include sister: Donna (Guy) and brother: Randy (Cindy), as well as many great friends.
Preceding Sandra in death were her parents Donald J. Sahotsky and Phyllis F. Sahotsky (Rymer) and brother Al Jahnke.
A Funeral Service for Sandra will be held at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at Wichmann Funeral Home, Laemmrich Chapel, 312 Milwaukee Street, Menasha, WI 54952. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home from 4 p.m. to the time of service. You may also join the service via Livestream by visiting this site on the evening of the service.
The family would like to thank Sandy’s neighbors, relatives and her KinderCare family for all their support and generosity over the past few years.
