Sandra “Sandy” Ann Bryan (Norskey), age 83 of Appleton, WI joined her heavenly kingdom on June 16, 2025. She was born to Walter and Ledzia “Lody” (Koldys) Norskey on June 7, 1942 in Gardner, Massachusetts. After graduating high school, Sandy went on to earn an Associates Degree, using her skills to become a secretary for a number of different places, including her church and the paper industry. She was married for a little while before deciding she would make it on her own, but from that marriage, she had and raised two boys who she loved and cared for as a single mom.
Sandy was, above all else, a family woman and a matriarch. She loved her family more than anything else in the world. However, her dogs were a close second. Sandy found her passion in a few things, but she really thrived in the artistic expression and beauty of ballroom dancing, despite how expensive it was for her. You could often find Sandy out at a restaurant enjoying breakfast and chatting with her friends, the ladies’ group. Above all else, Sandy enjoyed her family get-togethers or any event where she could cherish the company of her kids and grandkids. She was so proud of everyone she helped to raise, and those imprints will be on her heart and the hearts of those she loved forever.
Sandy will be deeply missed by her children, Stephen and Mike (Caroline) Bryan; her grandchildren, Noah (Victoria), Crispan, Carina, Caitlyn, and Jonathan Bryan; as well as many other extended family and dear friends.
Sandy is preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Lody Norskey; and her sisters, Cheryl and Diane.
A funeral visitation will be held for Sandy from 10-11 AM on Friday, June 27, 2025 at Wichmann Tri-County Chapel, 1592 S. Oneida St, Menasha, WI 54952 with a funeral service to follow at 11 AM. Sandy will be laid to rest at St. Mary Cemetery in Appleton, WI.
Sandy’s family would like to extend a special thanks to the doctors, nurses, and other supporting staff at Brewster Village Nursing Home and Compassus Hospice for their care, compassion, and expertise during her time of need.
