Obituary

Sally J. Maki, age 96, passed away peacefully at her home, on April 14, 2026. She was born on January 5, 1930, the daughter of Joseph and Myrtle (Lundin) Vezzetti. Sally loved quilting, sewing, needlework, knitting, and gardening. She was very tidy and organized and loved going on adventures and traveling locally with her daughter, Lynn. Sally enjoyed spending time at the cabin in Gibbs City, MI, and visiting with neighbors, Dave and Terry. She developed many friendships over the years with the Red Hat Society and at Rovers Resort. Sally will be remembered most for her love of everyone she met, wit, sense of humor, and time spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Sally is survived by her two daughters: Lynn Maki and Janice (Jon) Snively; grandchildren: Jessica (Jeremy Stephison) Snively and Joe (Kendra Troske) Snively; great grandchildren: Della, Leona, and baby Snively on the way; her dog: Annie; other relatives and friends.

Sally was preceded in death by her parents; siblings: Calvin (Elaine) Vezzetti and Carol Vezzetti.

A celebration of life will be held for Sally from 2PM to 5PM, on May 9, 2026, at the Roundabout Bar, 110 East County Highway KK, Kaukauna.

Sally’s family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff of Home Instead Home Care, especially Lisa, Ashley, Karen, and Julie, for their care, compassion, and kindness.
