Sally (Krubsack) Klawikowski, 78 of Appleton WI, passed away on May 30, 2022 at Primrose Memory Care after a 9-year courageous battle with cancer. Sally was born on Oct 3rd, 1943 to Arnold and Ella Krubsack in Junction City, WI. She married Gene Klawikowski on June 6, 1964 in Junction City, WI. They started life together in St Paul, MN. They had several wonderful moves throughout their marriage including Chippewa Falls WI, Wisconsin Rapids WI, Bethel CT, Green Bay WI, Rhinelander WI, and Appleton WI.
They retired on Hancock Lake in Rhinelander. For 10 plus years their son and daughter with 7 grandchildren spent many wonderful times together. Sally was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
She graduated from PJ Jacobs High School in Stevens Point. When she turned 18, she packed her bag and took a train to Milwaukee where she lived at the YWCA, worked at a bank, and met several lifelong friends.
She loved to travel. She collected a shot glass from every trip, including 48 states and proudly displayed them at home.  
She is survived by her husband Gene, daughter Kelly (Jon) Burkert of Appleton, son David (Dawn) Klawikowski of Gilberts IL, grandchildren Tyler (Isabella) Burkert, Jacob Burkert, Joel Burkert, Troy Burkert, Ella Burkert, Connor Klawikowski, and Cole Klawikowski. Sister Karen (Howard) Peterson of Denver CO, Brother Paul (Carol) Krubsack of Rice Lake WI. Preceded in death by parents Arnold and Ella Krubsack.

The memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, June 4, 2022, at Christ King Lutheran Church, 601 S Washington St, Combined Locks WI. Visitation will be held at the church from 9:00 AM until the time of service with a reception to follow. Burial will be at Runkels Cemetery, 4090 County Rd H, Junction City, WI, on the corner of H and Sandy Lane on Saturday at 2:30pm. In lieu of flowers and other expressions of sympathy, a memorial fund will be established with donations for Christ The King Lutheran Church, Remote Bible Study Fund.
