Age 62, died Friday afternoon, April 6, 2001. She was born September 17, 1938, to Jake A. and Christine A. (Lippert) Manske. Ruth graduated from Appleton High School, and had been employed by Appleton Medical Center and Bruskin’s. She also modeled clothing, sold siding in Appleton and had been employed by Appleton Highland Memorial Park Cemetery. Ruth is survived by her mother, Christine A. (Lippert) Manske, Appleton; a special friend, John T. Kispert, Appleton; and four aunts, Maggie, Marian, Pauline and Sarah, in South Dakota; three nephews, Tony, Tim and Allen Maass; three neices, Louise, Patty and Bernice; cousins, Rosie, Delbert, Marvin, Augie, Esther, Jenny and Betty (Ken) Kenn. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Roth and her father, Jake A. Manske. Funeral services for Ruth will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, April 10, 2001, at Appleton Highland Memorial Park Chapel, 3131 N. Richmond Street, with Reverend David Siegel officiating. Entombment will be in Highland Memorial Park. Friends may call at the chapel from 9:30 am Tuesday, until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund is being established.
