Russell Albert Schultz Junior passed away December 3, 2023 at Theda Clark Medical Center after a brief illness.

Russ was born August 18, 1947 to Russell Albert and Ann (Gazzillo) Schultz in Appleton Wisconsin

Russ worked at THILMANY pulp and paper in Kaukauna for 40 years. He was active in the Union and always fought for the rights of working men and women and their families.

Russ is survived by his husband, Gary Schuelke, Neenah, his daughter, Traci Schultz, Appleton, he is also survived by three grandchildren, Kaylee Brennan, Appleton, Rebecca Brennan, and fiancé, Trevor Reese, Abilene, Texas, and Kristina Brennan, Neenah and EJ, Barrera, Winters, Texas. Additional survivors are his sisters, Maria Jesse. Gerri (Don) Burton and Barbara DuFrane, brother, Fran (Carmen) Schultz. he is further survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Russ was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Marlene, Krueger and three brothers in law, Alan Jesse, Jim DuFrane and Tim Krueger.

Visitation for Russell will be held at Wichmann Funeral Home (537 N. Superior St., Appleton, WI 54911) on Friday, December 8th from 1:00 pm until the time of service at 3:00 pm.
