Age 78, passed away at Colony Oaks Care Center in Appleton on Monday, March 8, 2010. She was born in Neenah on December 26, 1931 the daughter of the late Edward and Ella O'Bright. Rosemary was a proud homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her grandsons and great-granddaughter, feeding the birds, and was a life-long Packer fan.

Rosemary is survived by her son, Harold (Helen) Verkuilen of Appleton, daughter, Julie (Jon) Walbrun of Viroqua, WI; two grandsons: Jeffrey (Molly) Walbrun of La Farge, WI and Adam (Melissa) Walbrun of La Crosse; great-granddaughter, Isabella Walbrun; two brothers: Jerome (Diane) O'Bright of Menasha and Duane (Alice) O'Bright of Menasha; two sisters: Kathy Oelrich of Marshfield, WI and Marilyn (James) Leedom of Appleton; and a special friend, Kathy Recker of Appleton. She was preceded in death by her husband in 2007, Harry Albert Verkuilen; and her mother and father: Edward and Ella O'Bright.

The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 11, 2010 at the Wichmann Funeral Home, Tri-County Chapel, with Rev. Kurt Kovanen officiating. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Entombment will be in Appleton Highland Memorial Park.

The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Stephen Dernlan, the entire staff at Colony Oaks Care Center, and Lisa at Heartland Hospice for all of your kindness, love and support that you gave Mom during her illness.
