Rosella E. Groeschel

Rosella “Rosie” E. Champine-Groeschel, age 82, a life-long resident of Appleton, passed away Wednesday afternoon, May 13, 2009 at Good Shepard Nursing Home in Seymour. She was born in Appleton on January 26, 1927.

Rosie is survived by her wonderful son: Brad (Judy) Champine, two Grandsons: Jason and Kevin Champine, one great-granddaughter: Shayna Mueller, all of Appleton; her sister: Marcella Ready, Shawano; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her two husbands: Edward Champine and Henry Groeschel.

A Memorial Service for Rosella will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 20, 2009 at WICHMANN FUNERAL HOME, 537 N. Superior Street, Appleton. Rev. Mary Bauer will officiate. Friends and family may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will take place at Highland Memorial Park, Appleton.
