Rose Margaret Van Oss, age 88, of Kimberly died on Friday, September 18, 2009, at her home. Rose Margaret was born on August 30, 1921, in Little Chute to the late Adrian and Mary (Schumacker) Bergman. She married Hubert Van Oss on June 27, 1944; he preceded her in death on July 8, 1996. Rose Margaret was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She especially enjoyed the time she spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Survivors include her sons, Thomas (Rose) Van Oss, San Diego, California; Henry (Debbie) Van Oss, Kimberly; James (Pat) Van Oss, Kimberly; Randy (Konny) Van Oss, Kaukauna; and Mark (Dawn) Van Oss, Kimberly; her grandchildren, Desiree Van Oss, Tracy (Mike) Buman, Mike Van Oss, Brian (Amy) Van Oss, Corey Van Oss, Leah Van Oss, Hannah Van Oss, Jason Bruehl and Carla Bruehl; her great grandchildren, Mitchell Buman, Courtney Buman and Drew Van Oss. She was preceded in death by her brothers, John (Margaret) Bergman, Andrew (Rita) Bergman and Peter (Agnes) Bergman; her sisters, Dorothy (Hubert) Look, Betty (Henry) Menting, Emma (Bill) Maas, Annie (Peter) Evers, Mabel (Martin) VandenBroek and Minnie (Martin) VandenHeuvel. The Funeral Liturgy will be at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 22, 2009, at HOLY SPIRIT PARISH, 600 E. Kimberly Avenue, Kimberly, with Fr. David Beaudry officiating. Friends may call directly at the church on Tuesday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of services. Interment will be in Holy Name Catholic Church Cemetery. Rose Margaret's family would like to extend a sincere thank you to Rosemary and Scott VandenBoogaard for their loving care; the VandenBoogaards and Dorothy Reider were special and close to her heart. A memorial has been established in Rose's name.
