Age 96, passed away at St. Paul Home in Kaukauna on Thursday, September 16, 2010. She was born in Kaukauna on July 13, 1914, the daughter of the late Joseph and Adelaide (Lorrig) Melchiors. In 1935 she married Arnold Seyfert in Oconto Falls. Rose will be remembered for playing and teaching organ and piano, her love of playing cards, and being a wonderful homemaker.

Rose is survived by her son, David Seyfert of Boyceville, WI; six grandchildren: Michael Seyfert of Princeville, IL; Susan Christopher of Spring Valley, WI; Steven Seyfert of Santa Maria, CA; Theresa (Hinchley) Coenen of Fremont, WI; Mark Hinchley of Kerrville, TX; and Barbara (Hinchley) Bodenhagen of Neenah, WI, and twenty great-grandchildren.

The memorial mass will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 23, 2010 at ST. KATHARINE DREXEL PARISH, St. Mary's site, 119 W. Seventh St., Kaukauna, with Fr. Jerry Pastors officiating. Friends will be received at the church on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
