Rory Jude Gerrits, a long hoped for and joyfully awaited addition to the family of Nathan and Sara (Kinnunen) Gerrits, left this world before making his full entry on September 17, 2025.
Rory was to be the joyful connection in a beautifully blended family. His siblings were waiting for the days when they could hold him, snuggle him, and feed him. Noah especially was waiting to be able to educate Rory in the ways of Spiderman, and he was looking forward to finally being the “big brother.”
Rory is survived by his parents Nathan and Sara (Kinnunen) Gerrits, siblings: Jackson, Adeline and Noah; grandparents: Yvonne Rasmussen, Bill (Debbie) Kinnunen, Melissa (Jack) Forman, Shawn (Barb) Gerrits. He is further survived by the army of aunts, uncles, and cousins who were waiting for him to join their crew.
Rory’s family will celebrate him privately with each other and with good friends.
