Ronald Kenneth Weyenberg, age 86, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 9, 2025. Born on July 13, 1939, Ron was the beloved son of Clarence and Eva Weyenberg and lived a life marked by loyalty, love of family, and quiet strength.
On April 30, 1960, Ron married the love of his life, Zona Weyenberg. Together they built a life rooted in devotion to one another and to their family. Their marriage was one of constancy and partnership, and Zona remained the heart of Ron’s world throughout their years together.
Ron proudly served in the United States Air Force. After his service, he spent his career at the Kimberly-Clark paper mill, later Stora Enso, where he worked until his retirement.
A man of few words, Ron found joy in the simple things. When his children were young, he loved spending time camping, fishing, and water-skiing, creating memories that would be shared and treasured for generations. Family gatherings were often filled with laughter and games. Ron and Zona especially cherished time spent at their timeshare at Nicolet Shores Resort in Eagle River, Wisconsin, a place that held many happy moments for them.
Ron was a loyal fan of the Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Brewers and enjoyed a round of golf. He liked to relax outdoors, visit with neighbors, and take life at an unhurried pace—content to enjoy the moment and the people around him.
Ron is survived by his loving sons: Brian (Diane) Weyenberg, Gary Weyenberg (special friend Kim Johnson), David (Lisa) Weyenberg, and Mark Weyenberg.
He was a proud grandfather to Michael (Stefanie) Weyenberg, Ryan Weyenberg, Curtis (Molly) Weyenberg, Taylor (Katelyn) Weyenberg, Cassie (fiancé Seth Thomas) Weyenberg, Laura (Tad) Dontje, Sierra (Anthony) Sladkov, Aspen Weyenberg, Wren Weyenberg, Justin (Amber) Weyenberg, Alexander Weyenberg, and Megan Weyenberg.
He was a cherished great-grandfather to Asia (Jacob) Mayville, Soren Weyenberg, Hunter Weyenberg, Brooke Weyenberg, Maci Weyenberg, Archer Weyenberg, Griffin Weyenberg, Landon Dontje, Levi Dontje, and Remy Weyenberg.
He is further survived by his sister Elaine Schubring, brother Patrick (Lorna) Weyenberg, numerous nieces and nephews
Ron was preceded in death by his beloved wife Zona Weyenberg, his parents Clarence and Eva Weyenberg, his brother Daniel (Lucy) Weyenberg, brother-in-law Robert Schubring, and his daughter-in-law Beth Weyenberg.
