Ronald L. Jensen

Ronald Lee Jensen of Appleton, passed away peacefully on January 16, 2024 at age 84.

Ron was born on January 17, 1939 in Ashland, Wisconsin, the son of the late Chester & Harriet Jensen. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy from 1957 to 1961. As part of his service, he served on the U.S.S. Midway as an electrician.

Ron married Diane J Melin in Ashland, Wisconsin, on January 25, 1964. Ron and Diane moved to Appleton after marriage. He was employed by Superior Electric as an electrician for many years. Superior Electric was purchased by Michels where he finished his career as a Project Manager.

Ron enjoyed fishing with his only grandchild, Zach. They spent many happy hours together at Lake Mauthe and other Wisconsin lakes. He also liked tinkering in his shop.

Ron is survived by his wife, Diane Jensen, daughter Kim Brown (Dave Rooyakkers), grandson Zachary Brown (Crystal Scharenbroch). Special brothers-in-law Robert & James Melin. He was preceded in death by his parents Chester & Harriet Jensen and brother Del Jensen.

A celebration of Ron’s life will be held at a later date for family only.
