Ronald J. Hofslund

Ronald J. Hofslund, 76, passed away peacefully on June 17, 2025, in Appleton after a courageous battle with numerous heart-related health issues. He was born on September 28, 1948, in Chicago, the son of Joel and Lorraine (Kohlmeyer) Hofslund. He enjoyed golfing and fishing, including week-long family fishing trips to Canada. He was passionate about conservative politics, and after a long career as a computer technician, Ron was enjoying retirement with his wife of 25 years, Diane. The two enjoyed watching and traveling to NASCAR and IndyCar races, as well as hosting all of the holidays together with their family.

Ron is survived by his wife Diane (Brunette) Hofslund; his children Heather (Brad) Erdmann, Heidi (Roger) Prahl, and Seth (Rochel) Hofslund, Dale (Diane) Robertson; his grandchildren: Tiffany Erdmann, Morgan (Adam) Prahl, Hannah Prahl, Ethan (Tiffanie) Prahl, Grant Prahl, Carter Hofslund, Eliana Hofslund, Amanda Robertson, Grace Robertson, and Cole Robertson, as well as several great-grandchildren; and his sister Mary Lynn Haasch.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Joel Hofslund.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, July 10, 2025 at Sacred Heart Parish, located at N369 Military Rd., Sherwood, WI. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until 10:45 AM at the church. Inurnment will take place later that day at Appleton Highland Memorial Park.
