Roger Lee Eubank, age 85 of Escanaba, MI passed away on October 24, 2025. He was born to the late Kenneth and Helen (Wedgwood) Eubank on September 15, 1940 in Marshalltown, IA. After graduating from Marshalltown High School, he enlisted with the US Navy and served his country for several years. Roger then started working in the paper mill as a beater operator, faithfully serving the community and the company for several decades before retiring in 2000. Roger met Rita Stasewich in Chicago soon after being discharged from the Navy and they were married shortly after in 1964. Together, they raised three wonderful children.

Roger was a man of many hobbies – a ‘serial hobbyist’, you might say. He dabbled in everything from tennis, running, and biking to boating, bowling, and horseshoes. He took a special interest in cars and always seemed to be on the hunt to trade in the car he had for the newest car of his dreams. Roger spent many years volunteering for and attending services at the Salvation Army in Escanaba. He was also very active and well-known in the Escanaba community and was beloved by anyone who got a chance to call him a friend. Roger was so proud of his kids, grandkids, and everyone else he helped to raise.

Roger is survived by his children, Ken (Aimee) Eubank, Donna (Rodger) Orzel, and Doug Eubank; his grandchildren, Miriam, Elena, Allison, Dalton, and Vin; as well as many other extended relatives and dear friends.

Roger is preceded in death by his wife, Rita.

A celebration of life will be held for Roger at a later date. Please check back for more updates about the date, time, and location.
