Robert “Robby” James Santiago, age 40, passed away on July 21, 2026, at his home. He was born on January 23, 1986, to Jose Santiago, Sr and Judith (Knuijt) Heller at St Elizabeth Hospital. He grew up in Appleton and graduated from Appleton East High School. He then went to Fox Valley Tech and received a certificate in Electricity. This certificate was something he put to use at Pierce Manufacturing and later at CMD Corporation.
Robby was generous with friends and family. He was someone who, when he brought you into his life, he was “all in” you became a part of his family, and he would do anything for you. He had a heart of gold, truly invested in the people around him and never failed to make everyone feel special.
He enjoyed playing basketball, bass fishing and golf. During his school years it was all about basketball and making three pointers. Later in his life he loved to spend time on the links and the driving range.
Robby was a bit of a renaissance man. He had an artist’s eye, and was a skilled pottery-maker, having won some contests. He enjoyed working on low-rider trucks and attending local car shows. In addition, he was a Bob Marley fan and also enjoyed watching the Packers!
