Age 52, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 10, 2009. He was born on December 8, 1956, the son of Robert and Betty Burroughs. After graduating from Menasha High School in 1975, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corp. On October 10, 1987 he married Angela Beyersdorf at St. Timothy Lutheran Church, Menasha. Bob was employed for over 30 years at SCA Tissue. He was a very talented woodworker and very handy. Watching the Packers and fishing were two of his favorite pastimes. Bob was a devoted husband and father for many years. He was very proud of his children, Heather and Daniel.

Bob is survived by his wife, Angie; children: Heather and Daniel; Mother, Betty Burroughs of Menasha; and brothers: Dave (Sue) Burroughs of Appleton and Ken (Lynn) Burroughs of Appleton. He is further survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many wonderful friends and co-workers. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Burroughs; his maternal and paternal grandparents; and his beloved dog, Packer.

The funeral service will be at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 14, 2009 at ST. TIMOTHY LUTHERAN CHURCH, 437 7nth St., Menasha, with Rev. David Skarsten officiating. Friends will be received at the church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund in Bob's name is being established.
