Robert "Bob" Hoehne Jr., age 79 of Kaukauna, WI passed away peacefully on January 8, 2026.
Bob attended Kaukauna High School, where he met the love of his life, Sharon. January 9th would have marked 61 years of marriage. Bob retired after 41 years as a machinist at Paper Converting Machine Company. He enjoyed hunting and camping, spending time on or near lakes, and especially loved watching birds. One of his lifelong dreams was to become a pilot—a dream he proudly fulfilled. Bob shared his passion for flying by taking family and friends up in his Cessna and by participating in the Young Eagles program. The EAA Fly-In was one of his favorite places to spend time. He was a devoted husband and a proud father to his daughters, Monica (Greg) Driessen, Brenda (Rich) Orde, and Tricia (Joe) Rosche.
Bob was blessed with six granddaughters, Erika (Sean) Mantei, Alexandria Woychek, Ashley Siebers, Rachel (Ross Dreier) Janssen, Heather (Nicholas) Kantelberg, and Faith Driessen; as well as 12 great-grandchildren who brought him immense joy.
Bob is further survived by his siblings, Barbara Bies, Mary Cox, and Don (Marsha) Hoehne, along with his in-laws, John Stumpf and Mary Hoehne; and Sharon's siblings, Elaine Hayek, Bonnie (Don) Tomazevic, Harvey (Tammy) Siebers, Joan (Kurt) Vogel, Mark (Kathy) Siebers, Mary Siebers, and Bernie (Teresita) Siebers. He held a special place in his heart for his nieces and nephews.
Bob is preceded in death by his parents, Robert (Bob) Hoehne Sr., and Marge Hoehne; his in-laws, Harvey and Vivian Siebers; his brother, Jerry Hoehne; his sister, Lynn Stumpf; his sisters-in-law, Blanche Meyer, Darlene Schroeder, and Deanna Guyette; and his brothers-in-law, Earl (Whitey) & Lana Siebers, Jerry Bies, Kevin Cox, Bob Meyer, and Howie Hayek; and great-grandson, Myles Siebers.
