Robert ”Bob” L. Barlament age 94 of Appleton "teed" off for the eternal golf course on July 25th, 2026. He was born February 17, 1932, in Appleton, the son of the late Leland and Marie (Youngchild) Barlament. He was a high school graduate of Appleton High School, earned a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from Northwestern University and received his master’s degree in business administration from University of Wisconsin- Oshkosh. He worked for Appleton Mills (Voith Fabrics) until his retirement in 1994.

Bob loved golf, photography. He and Gerry enjoyed traveling and sharing their experiences with their many friends. He was past president of Appleton Y’s men’s club and Fox Valley Photo club. He was a long-time member of Fox Valley Golf club and five-time club champion at Riverview Country Club.

Bob married Geraldine Asmus, the love of his life, May 16, 1953, in Evanston, Illinois. He is survived by his three sons Michael (Rebecca) Barlament Palm Harbor, Florida; William (Deb Chamberlain) Barlament, Wautoma, WI; James Barlament Mountain, WI; one daughter Nancy Scheffler Tulsa, Oklahoma; nine grandchildren: Brandon (Amy Dees) Barlament, Whitney (Matthew) Pittman, Courtney (Sarah) Barlament, Benjamin (Angelyn) Barlament, Stephanie (Scott) James, Mathew Scheffler, Janelle (Brandon Onesti) Barlament, Jenilee (Michael) Ehlenbeck and Leland (Ann) Barlament and 14 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his Wife Gerry, his parents and infant grandson Graham Barlament.
