Richard "Rick" Forster

Richard Forster, 75, passed away on December 7, 2023. He was born in Appleton to Bob and Shirley Forster on March 28, 1948.

Rick primarily found a career in sales and enjoyed watching football, specifically the Packers, and loved spending time with family. Rick was a proud veteran. He was a Marine and served during the Vietnam war. Rick had a passion for Vietnam Veterans and for the Marines. While he was living at the Wisconsin Veterans home in King, Wisconsin, he helped to plan the birthday recognitions for other Marines, and ran their Vietnam Veteran Day programs. He also assisted with the Code Red, White, and Blue which honored a veteran at the time of their passing, making sure everything was going smoothly and properly to pay the veteran respect.

Rick is preceded in death by his son, Craig Forster; parents, Bob and Shirley Forster; and ex-wife, Carrie Forster.

He is survived by his children, Calyn (Eddie) Huchthausen, Chris (Sandee) Forster, and Rob (Nikki) Forster; five grandchildren; and a special friend Kathy Tucker.
