Richard “Reyne” Reynebeau, age 75, of Appleton, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Saturday, January 30, 2016. Richard was born on January 24, 1941, in Appleton, son of the late Edmund and Dorothy (Glass) Reynebeau. Shortly after he graduated from Appleton High School in 1959, he joined the United States Army. On February 24, 1968, he married his high school sweetheart, Terry DeLain. He retired from Albany International in 2003 after working there for 39 years.
Richard enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing and going up north to Eagle River. He also enjoyed his Tuesday night bowling league and his dog Snoopy. Richard was an avid fan of the Badgers, Brewers and Packers but especially loved watching his grandchildren's sporting events. Above all, he cherished the time he spent with his family.
Richard is survived by his children: Kris Reynebeau, Appleton; Karen (Lenny) Ruel, Appleton; Nancy (Tom) Smith, Ocoee, Florida; and Steven (Rachelle) Brinkman, Appleton; Jason Piepenhagen, Appleton; his grandchildren: Mark, Erica (Gerrett), Alex, Ryan, Annika, Jessica (Zak), Travis and Bailey; great grandchildren: Liam, Meaya, and Jaxson; his brother: Bob (Sherry) Reynebeau; his sister: Joy (Don) DeBruin; and his aunt: Opal Glass. He is further survived by his nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends including Dick Miller, Wayne Krablean and Bob Salzman. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edmund and Dorothy Reynebeau, and his wife of 42 years, Terry Reynebeau.
The funeral service for Richard will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, February 4, 2016 at the WICHMANN FUNERAL HOME, 537 N Superior St. Appleton. Friends may call the funeral home on Thursday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. Online condolences may be expressed at www.wichmannfargo.com.
