Richard M. Deltour (Dick) passed away June 25, 2010, at the age of 67, at Appleton Medical Center. He was born in Appleton on January 13, 1943.

Dick was an Army Veteran and served in Vietnam. He received the Purple Heart and the Bronze Star. While being injured by shrapnel, he continued to evacuate his fellow soldiers until ordered to be evacuated. After service he worked at Gilbert Paper. He went to Culinary School at Fox Valley Technical College and worked at numerous restaurants in the Valley.

Dick is survived by two sisters: Marilyn Keddell of Appleton, Sandy Jansen of Waupaca, brother-in-law, Norbert (Sue) Bodway of Waupaca; nieces and nephews: Carol (Steve) Otto, David (Beth) Keddell, Paul (Janel) Keddell, Teri (Gary) Schultz, Vicki Mack, Shelley (Dell) Mork, Julie (Rich) Rasmussen, Linda (Pete) Schroeder, Bev (Bill) Hoppenworth, Cheryl (Steve) Vanden Wyngaard, Kathy Bragg, and Dan (Laura) Bodway; and numerous great- nieces, nephews and cousins.

Dick was preceded in death by his mother, Lucille Deltour; sister, Joylene Bodway, brothers-in-law: Ken Keddell and Ronald Jansen; and great-aunt, Lillian Martin.

The funeral service will be at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 29, 2010, at the Wichmann Funeral Home, with Rev. Kurt Hoffman officiating. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Appleton.

Dick will be missed dearly by family and friends at the Camelot. Dick was a special brother to us and we will miss him because he took care of us when our husbands died.
