Richard Faust

It is with great sadness that Richard J. Faust passed away on January 21, 2024.  He was born November 9, 1971, in Kaukauna.

Richard attended Kaukauna High School, UW-Fox Cities, and Milwaukee Institute of Arts and Design.

Richard had a deep love for the arts, including painting, drawing, photography, music, theater, and movies.  He had a passion for the game Chess, he and his late father enjoyed challenging each other in a good game.  He loved to collect chess games and made multiple sets out of different mediums, the largest being a lawn set. Richard will always be remembered for his unique sense of humor, and for the loving care he showed to his parents through their final years.

Richard was the youngest of four children.  He is survived by his brothers: Louis W. (Barbara Gray) Faust and Charles (Wendy) Faust; and his sister: Kathryn M. (Michael) Wichman; nephew and nieces: Louis J. Faust, Lauren Faust, Amelia (Lucas) Zimmer, Maria Wichman, and Alexandra Faust, as well as dear friends Adam, Bruce, and Wendy.

Richard was preceded in death by his loving parents: Louis E. Faust and Mary (Hartzheim) Faust of Kaukauna; grandparents: Louis J. and Mary (Hager) Faust, Walter and Anna (Jakl) Hartzheim, Mark W. Faust; and many loving aunts and uncles.

Per Richard’s wishes, there will be no funeral service, just a small gathering for immediate family.
