Regina Brockman (Nee Benser) of Kimberly, age 89, died on July 11, 2021, at Care Partners of Kaukauna. She was born on April 19, 1932, daughter of the late Leo and Myrtle (Chase) Benser. She graduated Crandon High School in 1950. On February 23, 1952, she married Gerald (Jerry) Brockman at Holy Name Catholic Church in Kimberly, and enjoyed 63 years of marriage together prior to his death in 2013.
She is survived by her two sons: Steve (Deb) Brockman and Mike (Susan) Brockman; grandchildren: Travis (Amanda), Cole, Dylan (Nicole), Jared (significant other Mary Doty), Ryan (Sarah), Brett (Laurie), and Alissa (fiancé Matt Ehlers); great grandchildren: Owen, Carter, Charlotte, Knox, and Evelyn; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband: Jerry, her father and mother: Leo and Myrtle Benser; father-in-law and mother-in-law: Art and Agnes Brockman; brothers-in-law: Melvin, and Gordon; and sister-in-law: Elaine (Peter) Hofacker.
Regina worked as a bookkeeper at several establishments including Hals Red Owl in Kimberly, Pick N Save in Appleton, Van Hoof Service in Kaukauna, and Voeck’s Grocery in Appleton. She also worked as a caller for the Fox Valley Thrift Store in Appleton.
In her younger years she enjoyed being a Cub Scout den mother, President of the Bowling League, as well as President of the Kimberly Home Markers.
The Funeral Liturgy for Regina will take place at 11:00 am on Friday, July 16, 2021, at HOLY SPIRIT PARISH – Kimberly Site, 600 East Kimberly Ave in Kimberly. The visitation will be held from 10:00 am until the time of Mass. Online condolences may be expressed at www.wichmannfargo.com.
