Raymond “Raymie” Jakubek Jr, age 69 of Oshkosh, WI passed away unexpectedly on June 9, 2026. He was born to Raymond Sr. and Carol (Cleveland) Jakubek on January 28, 1957 in Neenah, WI. After Junior year of high school, Raymie enlisted with the Navy, serving his country starting in 1974 and earning his honorable discharge in 1976. He earned his GED in San Diego shortly after his discharge and became a diesel truck mechanic, repairing semi trucks for the majority of his working career.

The first thing that could be noted about Raymond was his kindness – he truly had a big heart and a loving, warm attitude toward everyone. He had a slapstick sense of humor and loved to show it. On most days, you could find Raymie outside, enjoying the outdoors by gardening, landscaping, playing with his beloved dog, camping, fishing, or riding his Harley. Raymie also enjoyed cooking and creating his own spice blends, making him a true grill master. He, like other Wisconsinites, rooted for all the Wisconsin sports teams, but especially enjoyed watching the Packers. And while he may have had some struggles throughout his life, Raymie was a truly wonderful person who will be cherished and remembered in the hearts of those who knew him.

Raymond will be deeply missed by his siblings, Rick Jakubek, Paul Jakubek, and Patty (Bob) Christensen; his sister-in-law, Sue Jakubek (Jim, d. 2022); his nieces and nephews, Dylan Jakubek, Hannah Jakubek, Erin Christensen, and Brooke (Fisher) Wright; his long-time special friend, Penny Jakubek; as well as many other extended relatives and dear friends.

Raymond is preceded in death by his parents, Raymond Sr. and Carol Jakubek; his siblings, Gary Jakubek, Dale Jakubek, and Jim Jakubek; and his beloved pets, Wylie and Kitty.
