Raymond “Ray” Edward Harvey, Sr, age 90 of Kaukauna, WI joined his heavenly kingdom on November 21, 2025. He was born to Clarence and Nettie (Day) Harvey on June 28, 1935. After some time in high school, he went right into railroad work in his late teens and worked for the railway his entire life, retiring as an engineer. Ray met his first true love, Eileen Kupczyk, and they were married in August of 1955. Together, they raised 5 children before her passing in March of 2001. He later found love again with Mary Fritz-Wulterkens and they combined their families in 2003.
Ray was a good man who loved his family and always made time for his friends. He enjoyed fishing and hunting whenever he had the chance. He also spent a lot of time on the golf course or driving range, either perfecting his technique or grabbing a quick brunch with Eileen. Ray had a love for dancing, especially with Eileen. You could often find Ray at a casino in Northeast Wisconsin, trying his luck at the machines. On many mornings, he enjoyed having breakfast with his friends at Sweetberry’s (AKA Landreman’s) or “the culture club”. Additionally, on many evenings, you could find him at Hollanders, enjoying a cold beer and a good meal. More than anything, though, Ray loved his family and cherished every moment he could spend with the people he helped to raise.
