Randall Richard Bornemann, age 54 of St. Louis Park, MN passed away on April 6, 2024.  He was born to Edward and Ruthann (Sawyer) Bornemann on January 9, 1970 in Two Rivers, WI.  He graduated from NEW Lutheran High School with the class of ’88 and went onto further education at UW Lacrosse, earning a Bachelor’s degree with a double major in psychology and philosophy.  Randall later started pursuing his interest in Eastern Medicine, chiefly acupuncture, and even wrote a book with one of his classmates on the subject.

Randall was a wonderful man.   He was incredibly intelligent and loved expanding his mind with a good book.  He was a freemason and belonged to the Masonic Lodge in Crivitz.  Randall loved his cat, Quincy.  And despite living in the Twin City area, he always cheered for the Packers.  While Randall never had kids of his own, he loved his nieces and nephews as if they were his own children and was especially instrumental in helping to raise his sister’s kids, Shawn and Susan.

Randall is survived by his mother, Ruthann Bornemann-Koss; his siblings, Dawn Bornemann-Flak and Jon (Sue) Bornemann; his nieces and nephews, Shawn (Hannah) Flak, Susan Duncan-Flak, Nala (Brady) Heer, Noah Goins, Craig Kittelson, Ella (Adam) Wussow, Hannah (Ryker) Schneider, Zachary Bornemann, and Kayla Kittelson; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Layla, Luna, Libby, Abigail, Isabella, Joseph, Amoura, Samiya, Sven, Salem, Lily, Ethan, Ava, Aria, and Simon; his lifelong friend, Lousene Hoppe; his roommate and friend, Ryan Boyde; as well as many other extended relatives and dear friends.

Randall was preceded in death by his father, Edward Bornemann.

Family will be hosting a memorial gathering on Sunday, April 21st, 2024 from 1-4 PM at the home of his mother, Ruthann Koss, 917 S. Covenant Ln, Appleton, WI 54915.  In lieu of flowers, Randall’s family asks that anyone who knew him please write their fondest memory of Randall below.
