QUENTIN RALPH ABBETT

Age 93, died Thursday, March 22, 2001 at home. He was born August 12, 1907 to the late William and Lenora (Burks) Abbett in Capps, MO. He married Thelma Rowe on September 28, 1935 in St. Louis, MO.

Quentin is survived by his wife Thelma of Appleton; his daughter, Faye (Travis) Roberts of Appleton; his son Terry (Suda) Abbett of Bethlehem, GA. He will also be greatly missed by five grandchildren, Pamela Ashley, Neal (Cynthia) Roberts, Suda Ann Abbett, Supiya Abbett and Nappy(Ray) Foster; and two great grandchildren Christine and Raymond Foster.

He was employed by the U. S. Postal Service, St. Louis, MO retiring with 30 years of service.

Quentin was a member of the Valley Baptist Church and proudly served as Deacon Emeritus.

The Funeral Service will be at 2:30 PM Sunday, March 25, 2001 at VALLEY BAPTIST CHURCH, 3600 North Richmond Avenue, Appleton with Pastor Larry Creamer officiating. Viewing and visitation will be Sunday at CHURCH from 1:00 PM until the time of service.

Entombment will take place at the Historic Riverside Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Valley Baptist Church.
