Corbin, Phillip L.

Phillip Lee Corbin, age 79, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 26, 2009. He was born in Worthington, Indiana, the son of the late Robert and Martha (Dowell) Corbin. Phillip graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelors Degree in Accounting and worked for the federal government. He was also a loyal patriot who served his country honorably in the Army during the Korean War. Phillip was a member of the VFW as well as a Mason. He married his loving wife, Geraldine Ricketts on September 8, 1972. She preceded him in death on September 3, 2004. Phillip was a Civil War enthusiast and enjoyed fishing.

Phillip is survived by his brother, Robert Corbin, nephews: Phil and Joe Corbin; niece, Kathy Arias, brother-in-law, Carl Ricketts, and two step-daughters. He is preceded in death by his brother, Charles (Jean) Corbin, and sister-in-law, Helen Corbin.

A Funeral Service for Phillip will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 30, 2009, at the Fargo Funeral Home with Fr. Tom Pomeroy officiating. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until the time of service.
