Philip Lee Fischer, born May 13, 1955, passed away peacefully on December 16, 2023.
Philip lived in many group homes during his life, the last being Vista Care in Manitowoc. When he was able, he loved to bowl and crush cans. His favorite treat was McDonald’s-especially the shakes-vanilla and strawberry; and he loved the Packers.
He is survived by his sister Kathy (Jim) Hoffman, sister-in-law Bonnie Fischer, nephews: Ron and Fred Hoffman; Jason and David Fischer and niece Ann Schaefer. He was preceded in death by his parents Frederick and Ruth (Weber) Fischer, a brother Steven and his brother Jeff and nephew Jimmy Hoffman.
As his guardian, Bonnie would like to thank all the staff at Vista Care for their care of Philip and also all the care givers who were so wonderful throughout the years.
A funeral mass will take place on Wednesday December 27, 2023 at 11:00am at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 309 Desnoyer, Kaukauna. Friends and family may gather at the church from 10:00am until mass begins. Philip will be laid to rest at Holy Cross Cemetery.
