Peter “Pete” Ray Kamine, age 70 of Appleton, WI passed away on May 11, 2025. He was born to Reinhart and Leota (Cavert) Kamine on February 13, 1955 in Appleton, WI. Pete spent many years working at Pierce Manufacturing, where he played a key role in the development of aerial apparatus for fire trucks. Pete met the love of his life, Karen Redenz, and they married on November 19, 1977. Together, they raised three children and recently celebrated 46 years of marriage. Pete was known for his warmth, generosity, and strong work ethic. He was considered a great friend by many. He had a passion for the outdoors; including hunting, motorcycle riding and spending time at his cabin “up north” where he spent as much time as possible.
Above all, Pete’s deepest joy came from his family. He treasured every moment with his children and grandchildren, and his love for them was limitless. He will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by his children, Kelly (Kevin) Schmidt and Andrew “Andy” Kamine; his beloved grandchildren, Taylor and Parker Schmidt; extended family members, and close friends.
