Peggy Ann Huettl (Craig), 74, passed away on March 28th, 2024, at her home in Kimberly, WI, of natural causes.
She was born on November 7, 1949, in Oshkosh to Alice Craig (Young) and Archie Borchardt. She grew up in Omro, where she attended Omro High School.
Peggy had a deep love for animals, which was evident in her home filled with the warmth and companionship of furry friends, whom she cared for dearly. Peggy's compassionate nature extended beyond human relationships to encompass all creatures, and she found great joy in the presence of her beloved pets. Among them, her favorite was Sophie, a small Rat Terrier. To anyone who knew Peggy and Sophie, it was evident that they were inseparable companions, sharing a bond that brought immense comfort and joy to Peggy's life.
She will be deeply missed by her family members, friends, and church. Peggy is survived by her spouse, Rudolph Huettl, her mother, Alice Craig, her children, Christine Craig, Steven Mullens (Marci), Jerry Mullens, Jason Mullens (Holly), Kyle Huettl (Katie), Brad Huettl (Rhoda), Chris Huettl (Lisa), Ellen Pelky (Kurt), and Joe Huettl, her siblings, Mike Craig (Linda), Steve Craig, Doug Craig (Sue), Donald Craig, and Lenny Craig. Peggy also leaves behind numerous grandchildren, including Breanna Arsenty, Marlee Mullens, Hunter Huettl, and Hailey Huettl.
She is preceded in death by her father, Archie Borchardt, her daughter, Donna Sharp, and her sister, Carol Bushman (Bruce).
In closing, we reflect on the beautiful life of Peggy Ann Huettl, a cherished soul with a heart of gold. She radiated warmth and kindness, touching the lives of all who knew her. Her selflessness knew no bounds; she would wholeheartedly give of herself to bring a smile to the faces of those she loved. Among her greatest joys was the time spent in the company of her children and grandchildren, where her love knew no bounds. Her legacy of love and generosity will forever be etched in the hearts of those she leaves behind. As we gather to honor her memory, let us carry forward her spirit of compassion and devotion, finding solace in the countless lives she has touched. Though she may no longer be with us in person, her presence will continue to illuminate our lives, guiding us with her enduring love and grace.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 6th, 2024, at Wichmann Jansen Fargo Funeral Home (204 East Kimberly Ave. Kimberly, WI 54136), where friends and family can come together to honor and celebrate Peggy's life. Time for visitation will be 11:00 AM until the time of service at 12:00 PM.
