WATSON, PEARL M.
Pearl Watson, 93, of Kaukauna, passed away on Wednesday, June 9, 2010 at Rennes Health Care Center. She was born on November 23, 1916 in Kaukauna, the daughter of the late Joseph and Louise (Gatz) Wagner. On April 30, 1945, she married Clayton Watson at St. Mary Catholic Church in Kaukauna. Pearl was a member of St. Katharine Drexel – St. Mary site. She retired from Larry's Piggly Wiggly as a bookkeeper. Pearl was an avid golfer, enjoyed playing cards and working with plastic canvas. Clayton and she looked forward to their time in Florida during the winter months. Reading, walking in the woods and spending time on her computer were some of her passions.
Pearl is survived by her son: Bob Watson, Appleton; nephews and nieces: Tim Eiting; Julie (Jerry) Vondrachek; Tom (Kaye) Eiting; Sandy (John) Mayer and Terry (Dani) Eiting. She is further survived by Clayton's nieces and nephews, other relatives and all her friends at Golden Ventures. Pearl was preceded in death by her husband, Clayton Watson; son, George Watson; and her sister, Charlotte (Ed, Orville) Eiting-Lehman.
The funeral liturgy for Pearl will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, June 12, 2010 at ST. KATHARINE DREXEL – ST. MARY SITE, 119 W. Seventh Street, Kaukauna. Fr. Jerry Pastors will be officiating. Interment will take place at St. Mary Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday from 12:00 noon until the time of mass. The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the staff at Rennes Health Care Center for your care and compassion.
