MORRIS, PAULETTE JOSEPHINE
Paulette Josephine Morris, loving wife and mother, age 87, of Appleton, passed away at The Renaissance Assisted Living on Wednesday, October 13, 2010. Paulette was born on February 3, 1923, in Verviers, Belgium, the daughter of the late Arnold and Pauline (Wannot) Dreschers. On June 26, 1945, Paulette married John Patrick Morris in Verviers, Belgium, and subsequently moved to Washburn, Wisconsin, following John's military service. They moved to Appleton in 1946. John preceded her in death on June 3, 2002. Paulette was a homemaker and nurturing mother raising six boys. She was a life-long member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, and enjoyed reading, baking, and spending time with her family which she cherished most in life. Paulette is survived by her children, Michael (Penny) Morris, San Diego, California; Robert (Gail) Morris, Madison, Wisconsin; John Peter Morris, Appleton; William (Debbie) Morris, Kenosha; Charles (Cherie) Morris, Appleton; and Paul Morris, Appleton. She is further survived by her nine grandchildren, Rebecca Morris, San Diego, California; Nicole (Colin) Schmies, Madison, Wisconsin; Matthew Morris, Madison, Wisconsin; Stephanie (Paul) Harris, Minneapolis, Minnesota; Jennifer and Ann Morris, Appleton; Lisa (Josh) Henslin, Appleton; Keayra and Ashlynn Morris, Appleton; and Reno Caira, Kenosha, Wisconsin, and six great grandchildren: Alexis, Elyse, Grace, Jack, Alannah and Hanalei. The Funeral Liturgy will be at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, October 18, 2010, at ST. JOSEPH CATHOLIC CHURCH, 410 W. Lawrence Street, Appleton, with Fr. David Funk officiating. Friends may call directly at the church on Monday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to benefit St. Joseph Catholic Church. The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the staff at Renaissance Assisted Living and Affinity Hospice for their care and support.
