Paul William Neujahr

Paul William Neujahr, age 71, passed away on February 12, 2026, at his home. He was born on September 24, 1954, to William and Corinne (Larson) Neujahr. Paul spent his earliest years in Lomira before the family relocated to Appleton when he was 10. He graduated from Fox Valley Lutheran High School in 1972. Following high school he worked a few odd jobs and attended Fox Valley Tech and achieved an AA in mechanical drawing. Soon after he began working at Arien’s. He moved to McCain foods after his time at Arien’s and worked there for many years and served there as an engineer. He retired from McCain at the age of 60.

Paul was a gifted golfer, and few things pleased him more than spending time on the links. For a few years he was able to take every Friday off of work and spend those days on the course. Paul golfed every course in the Fox Valley area (and then some!) and was skilled enough that he won the Appleton City tourney on the day of his sister’s wedding! He had many wonderful friends from his time golfing.

Paul loved his kitty family; they truly were his pride and joy! Those furry friends provided much comfort for him. He also enjoyed riding his motorcycle. He loved to just drive around, visit family and find new adventures. Paul really loved the freedom he felt while riding. Paul even managed to get his mom out for a ride two! Paul loved his family, and enjoyed time spent with his nieces and nephews. He was always “Unkie Paul.” He always found time to check in on the goings on in their lives.

He is survived by his siblings: Cathy (Darwin) Tiede, David (Jane) Neujahr, Ruth (Doug) Marquardt, James (Julie) Neujahr, and Cora Lisa (Tom) Schultz, nieces and nephews: Matthew (Angie) Tiede, Sarah (Timothy) Somers, Michael Tiede, Philip (Courtney) Neujahr, Eric (Courtney) Neujahr, Lee Neujahr, Caitlin (Quin) Chrobak, Juliane (Derek) Such, Sandra (Joshua) Russow, Michael Marquardt, Joel (Melanie) Neujahr, Jonathon (Brittany) Neujahr, Joshua Neujahr, and Johanna (Carlos Bonilla) Neujahr Morgan (Cody) Cottrell, Jacob (Kara) Schultz, Emily (Ryan) Youngberg and Sophie (Zoheb) Nayebkhil, his great nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents William and Corinne, brother-in-law Glenn Kobussen.

There will be no formal services, but his family plans to celebrate his life with a gathering to share memories at a later date.
